Tuesday 5th August - Sun moves to Gate 7 and the quarter of relationship begins
Friday 8th August - Venus joins Jupiter in Gate 39
Saturday 9th August - Full Moon in Aquarius, in Gate 13
It’s certainly a quieter week compared to last week, and I don’t think anyone will be complaining about that!
With the Sun forming the majority of our Neutrino weather, Gate 7 is where we need to focus. And I love this, BECAUSE. Whilst the sun is in gate 7, herding, rounding, collecting the people we need for our next move, our next direction. Mercury, the messenger, is sat retrograde on the other end of the channel, in Gate 31. Now, the sun was recently here. And whilst it was here, we had that huge collective shadow shifting over us like a cloud. The shadow of arrogance.
I’ve seen how this has played out, and you can read my musings on this gate 31 here. This idea that our way is the only way. That others are wrong for not believing the same thing as us. This inability to be humble. To be grateful. There’s a huge undercurrent in the spiritual community at the moment that is… ugly. Someone tells you enough times that you’re great, you start to believe you’re above others. That you have special powers, or a magical touch. And the reality is, everyone has the ability to heal, or to self heal. The difference is merely circumstance. True leadership comes from humility. Humbleness. Keep your eyes peeled for how this undercurrent is flowing through your life at the moment.
With this 7-31 channel of the Alpha therefore activated this week, there’s a lot of false profits around. Loudness. Noise. “I’m sparticus, no I’M SPARTICUS.” How much time are you spending absorbing this noise? I’ve made a personal pact to come off social media a little, or cut down at least. Focussing on my writing instead. Pouring my energy into something I care about, even if no one reads it, at least it’s been productive time.
Gate 7 is the Shephard. A leader from embodiment. Leading silently, often, from the back. Cajoling the herd towards the new pasture, but without thanks, and without fanfare. Not something we’re used to in this world right now. The shadow is division, competition, jelousy. This seated resentment in the heart that tries to separate and divide us. And with Gate 31 still highlighted with the shadow of arrogance and needing to be heard, or needing to be ‘above’ there’s a power hungry assault in the air. But on the light side? There’s a beautiful opportunity to lean into humble celebration, humility and embodied guidance. Embodiment isn’t about telling people what to do, or where they should go, or how they should do life. It’s about meeting somewhere exactly how they are and where they’re at. And as you meet them? Accept them. Waiting for any invitation to share your wisdom, but appreciating that everyone is on their own journey. And neither party is right, or wrong, they just ‘are.’
Venus into Gate 39 will bring a fresh perspective, or new eyes to liberation. In shadow? This is the gate of provocation. Poking at things for the sake of poking. To get a reaction. Sure, it shifts and moves things. But is that the way you want to go? Venus brings a softness, a new way or getting a message across. A new way of moving through life. A liberating and exhilerating energy just before she meets Jupiter and Sirius conjunct. Look out for next week! When these three together will be beaming a BEAUTIFUL bright light on the feminine energy slowly rising on the planet.
And finally? A full moon to end the week in Gate 13. The gate of the listener. This is a full moon to literally listen. To yourself. To the world around you. To people. To the trees, the breeze, the rain, the water, the fires, the mother. The gate of the listener is one of my favourite gates to embrace. An opportunity to deeply BE. Observe, hear, truly listen. Closing off chapters from late January, this is a gorgeous moon for liberation.
